This week I have a listener giveaway. For those who don't know there is a highly active cassette scene right now among noise bands. Highly limited editions from impossibly obscure labels and lots of amazing work. Digitalis is putting out a lot of great cassette music as is Not Not Fun. I have been picking up cassettes as I come across them. Usually they are pretty inexpensive and there is a treasure trove of great work. I was sent a rip of the Bladestoner cassette (thanks Chad!) and when I contacted Black Cheeks (the label that produced this cassette) they had some still available, so I picked it up. And now I pass it to you. Before the next show is recorded I will pick a listener to give this cassette to. If you are a member of the Facebook group you are already entered. If you don't want to do that you can send me a message to my email, my AIM (spartacusroose), my Skype (spartacusroosevelt), or through my MySpace. Episode 110: As Long as High School

This month, four years ago launched the Spartacus Roosevelt Hour as an extension of my love of making mix CDs. After a year of doing it outlaw style, I began to get clearances and show regularity slowed down. But here I am still doing an hour of noisy eclectic stuff. Thanks for joining the ride.

When Show 1 went live in June 2005 I had no idea if I was going to do this for three months. I always thought that I had the potential to have the most popular music show around. I know its a crazy idea but I always thought that this show just needs to be heard to be appreciated. To a degree I was right, if the right people hear the show, they love it. I underestimated the number of people who were searching for something besides 90s college rock derivatives, but for the 300-400 of you that download every show I think I push the right buttons. Thank you for joining me in this trip through new sounds.
